Send voice messages

1. Open the chat.
2. Press and hold the microphone icon next to the message field and speak.
3. Release your finger to send.

• Lock: While recording a long message, slide your finger up. Recording continues hands-free; tap the send icon when you’re done.
• Cancel: While recording, slide your finger to the left.

Voice messages appear in the chat with a sound wave; tap the play icon to listen.

Change the playback speed

While a voice message is playing, a speed button appears in place of the sender’s photo. Each tap switches between 1x, 1.5x and 2x. The speed you choose is also used for the next voice messages you play.
