Send photos, videos, and documents

1. Open the chat and tap the + icon next to the message field.
2. Choose the type you want to send:
   • Photos: Pick photos and videos from your gallery.
   • Camera: Take a photo or record a video.
   • Document: Choose a PDF, an Office file, or any other file.
   • Location, Contact, or Poll.
3. Add a caption if you like, then send.

You can also send an image you’ve copied by pasting it into the message field. For emoji, GIFs, and stickers, tap the emoji icon in the message field; the panel has Emoji, GIF, and Stickers tabs.

Choose photo quality

By default, photos are compressed so they send faster. To change the default quality:

1. Tap You > Chats > Media upload quality.
2. Choose Standard quality or HD quality.

HD photos can be up to 6 times larger than standard quality and use more mobile data. Photos sent in HD appear with an HD badge in the chat.
