Reply to, forward, and star messages

When you press and hold a message (or use the menu on the message on a computer), you see these options:

• Reply: Replies by quoting the message.
• Forward: Sends the message to other chats. When you forward to a single chat, that chat opens; when you forward to several chats, you stay where you are.
• Copy: Copies the message text to the clipboard.
• Ask AI: Sends the message to Flowsy Assistant; you can have it summarized or ask a question about it.
• Info: Shows who your own message was delivered to and who has read it.
• Star: Adds the message to your starred messages.
• Pin: Pins the message to the top of the chat; see Pin messages.
• Keep: Stops the message from disappearing in a chat where disappearing messages are on.
• Delete and Select.

Find starred messages

In the You tab, tap Starred. To remove a star, press and hold the message and choose Unstar.

Read receipts

The ticks below your own messages show the message status: sent, delivered, and read. In group chats, a message is marked as read when everyone in the group has read it. If you don’t want to share read receipts, you can turn them off in your privacy settings.
