Pin messages

Pinned messages appear at the top of the chat, so everyone can easily find an important announcement or piece of information.

1. Press and hold the message you want to pin, then tap Pin.
2. Choose how long the message stays pinned: 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days, or Until removed. The default is 7 days.

You can pin up to 5 messages in a chat. To unpin, press and hold the message again and unpin it.

In groups, who can pin messages depends on the group permissions.
