Pin, archive, and filter chats

Pin a chat

In the chat list, swipe a chat and tap Pin. Pinned chats stay at the top of the list. To unpin, swipe again and choose Unpin. You can also pin from inside the chat with ⋯ > Pin.

Archive a chat

Swipe the chat and tap Archive. Archived chats are kept in the Archived section at the top of the list. To restore one, swipe it there and choose Unarchive.

Mark as read or unread

Swipe the chat and choose Mark as read/unread. To mark all chats as read at once, tap Mark all read in the ⋯ menu on the list.

Filters and favorites

With the filters above the chat list, you can switch between All, Unread, Favorites, and Groups. To add a chat to your favorites, tap ⋯ > Add to Favorites inside the chat.

Your changes are synced between your phone and your linked devices.
