Mentioning a person

While writing a message in a group chat, type @ and select the person from the list that opens. The person you mention gets a notification even if they have muted the group. Unread messages that mention you are shown with an @ icon in the chat list.

Mentioning the whole group

To send a notification to everyone in the group, type @herkese (the @everyone mention). When you send, a Notify everyone confirmation appears.

• In groups with 32 or fewer members, all members can use @herkese.
• In larger groups, @herkese is available only to admins.

Turning off @everyone notifications

If you don’t want to get a group’s @herkese notifications, turn on Mute @everyone notifications on the group info screen. You still get notifications when you’re mentioned personally.
