How your data is protected
- End-to-end encryption: Your messages, photos, videos, documents and voice messages, reactions, polls and live location can be opened only on the devices of the people in the chat. The Flowsy server can’t read this content. See End-to-end encryption.
- Encryption in transit: The connection between your device and Flowsy servers is encrypted.
- Encrypted storage on your device: The chats on your phone are stored in an encrypted database. The encryption key is kept in your phone’s secure storage.
- Phone-approved sign-in: A sign-in from a new device can’t happen without your approval on your phone; see Approve new device sign-ins.
- Encrypted history transfer: The message history transferred to a new device is sent encrypted between your devices, and both devices verify each other’s identity. See Encryption when linking a new device.
- Encrypted chat backup: Your chat backups are encrypted; you can also end-to-end encrypt them with a password only you know. See End-to-end encrypted backup.
- Role-based permissions: Roles and permissions determine who can access the processes and information in your organization. Flowsy Assistant also works only with information you can access.
If different accounts sign in on the same phone, each account’s chats are kept separate; a person signing in with another account can’t see your chats.
For information that isn’t encrypted (for example who a message is from and when it was sent), see Known limits of encryption.
For detailed information on how your personal data is processed, see the Privacy Policy.
