Approve or reject from a process card

If the step a process card is waiting on is assigned to you, or is in your department’s pool, action buttons for that step appear at the bottom of the card.

Approval steps without a form

If the step only asks for approval or rejection, the card shows Approve and Reject.

To approve:

  1. Tap Approve.
  2. When asked “Approve “”?”, tap Approve again.

To reject:

  1. Tap Reject.
  2. Write your reason and reject.

Once your decision is sent, the card shows Your decision was sent, and shortly after it shows the process’s new status. For rejected processes, the reason is visible on the card to everyone in the chat.

Steps with a form

If the step needs you to fill in a form, the card shows Open task. Tap it to open the task screen, then fill in and submit the form. See Complete, approve, or reject tasks.

If the buttons are inactive

Some steps can’t be decided before a certain time. In that case, the card shows how long until the step opens for a decision, and Approve and Reject stay inactive until then.

If the decision can’t be made

  • The step is already decided: Someone else may have decided before you. The card shows the process’s current status.
  • Permission: If the step is no longer assigned to you, you can’t decide on it.

In these cases a notice appears and the buttons become available again.
